This module is used to add testimonials to your website. You can add unlimited number of testimonials, and the corresponding authors, title and date for it. You can also add images to authors which you won’t find in any similar module. There are lots of customizing options using which you can make this modules look like anything you need.

Features of this module

• 'Testimonial title' textbox can be filled in or left blank as per your wish. If you wish to write more than one testimonial then title for each should be separated by a '\\'. Suppose you decide to have three testimonials and want titles only for the first and last then 'Title-1\\ \\ Title-3' is how text should be entered in the text box. HTML TAGS SUPPORTED.
• 'Testimonials' box should NOT be left empty and should definitely have some content. One testimonial should be separated from another using a '\\'. You can have Unlimited number of testimonials. HTML TAGS SUPPORTED.
• 'Testimonials author' text box can also be filled in or left blank as per your wish. Author of one testimonial should be separated from author of another testimonial using a '\\', make sure the respective titles have their corresponding authors. Suppose you decide to have three testimonials and want authors only for the first and last then 'Authors-1\\ \\ Authors-3' is how text should be entered in the text box.
• 'Enter dates for testimonials' text box can be left blank or filled in as per your wish. Date can be represented in any format but one date should be separated from another using a '\\'. Suppose you decide to have three testimonials and want dates only for the first and last then 'Dates-1\\ \\ Dates-3' is how text should be entered in the text box.
• 'Image option' for authors is definitely a highlight of this module, you can add unlimited images to unlimited authors. 'Enter image path for testimonials' text-area is where you include path for images if you want to have image for a particular testimonial author. If you don't want image for an author its respective place should be left empty. The paths should be separated from one another by a '\\'.Don't forget to choose the 'Image present' option in the MODULE DISPLAY SETTINGS.
• 'Show external link' choose 'Yes' if you want more testimonials to be displayed in the site. Give a suitable name in the Label for link textbox and also the URL in the URL for link textbox.

Fader settings

• This determines how the testimonials will be displayed in the site. Choosing the 'fader option' in animation makes a testimonial fade slowly as the next one appears, the fading time for which should be specified in the Fading time textbox. Choosing the 'blinker option' in animation makes a testimonial disappear and the next one appear, analogous to the blink of an eye. The time gap that you wish to have between two testimonials should be specified in the Wait time textbox.
• For better appearance keep fading time less than half of wait time.
• You can choose whether to show Next/Prev arrows. You can show it always or only when mouse is hovered over the module. You can also set the position of arrows relative to module.

Module display settings

• Only numbers along with 'px' at the end should be entered in the 'Module height' and 'Module width' textboxes. It is better you check the appearance before you save changes.
• Specify the background color for the module in the Enter 'background color' textbox, the value you enter here should be a hexadecimal value, so google search the exact hexadecimal equivalent of desired color and enter here. For example #770000 is the hexadecimal equivalent for magenta. If you want the background to be plain white then leave this textbox empty.
• If you want the borders of the module to be rounded then specify a value in the 'Rounded corner radius' textbox and suffix it with 'px'.
• Choose the 'Image present' option if you need image support else choose the other option. There are 8 different layout styles (only if 'Image present' option has been chosen) of which one can be picked from the 'Layout style' list box. Each style is different from one another in the way the image is positioned. It is better you pre-test and choose the one of your desire. Specify the image's width in the 'Enter width of image' textbox.

Quote image settings

• There are three options under Quotes image display, by choosing 'No quote image' other parameters need not be filled in. This option doesn't show quote image.
• On choosing 'Existing image', you can choose your one of the existing quote image in the 'Existing image' settings.
• On choosing 'Your own image', you have to upload your own image by clicking the select button under Your own image settings.
• The positions for the quote image is set under the Enter the position of quote image, the number is followed by 'px'.

Testimonials title display settings

• Testimonial title font-style can be chosen from the drop down menu (over 65 fonts available).
• In the Testimonial title color textbox, hexadecimal equivalent of the desired color (can be determined by doing a google search) must be entered. In the Testimonial title font-size textbox, a number followed by 'px' is entered.
• Choose an alignment (Left, Right, Centre, Justify) for the Testimonial title text.
• Choose 'Normal' or 'Bold' for Testimonial title font-weight.
• Choose between 'Normal' or 'Italic' for Testimonial title font-style.

• In the External/Bottom link font-size textbox, a number followed by 'px' is entered.
• Choose an alignment (Left, Right, Centre, Justify) for the External/Bottom link font text.
• Choose 'Normal' or 'Bold' for External/Bottom link font -weight.
• Choose between 'Normal' or 'Italic' for External/Bottom link font -style.

Installing a module

Firstly, login to Joomla administrator and go to 'Extensions=> Extension manager', upload the module by choosing the file and click 'upload & install'. Then again go to 'Extensions=>Module manager'. Choose 'monialsfader' module. Here, make sure you choose the appropriate position and change the status to 'Published'. You also need to choose the right menu assignment.

Uninstalling a module

Login to Joomla administrator, and go to 'Extensions=>Extension manager', then click on the 'Manage' menu, enter the
name of the module that you wish to uninstall in the 'Filter textbox' and click on search, then check this module and click 'Uninstall' present in the right hand side top corner. This uninstalls the module successfully.
